Coba CTA100 powder adhesive floor & wall is suitable for indoor bonding of wall and floor tiles on all common dimensionally stable substrates, such as concrete, cement screeds, sand-lime brick, cement and gypsum-based plaster, aerated concrete, gypsum blocks, plasterboard, construction, and insulation boards. CTA100 is suitable for underfloor heating, has good filling capacity, and a long open time. Applicable in dry and wet rooms. Coba CTA100 is not suitable for outdoor and underwater applications such as swimming pools.

Substrate preparation
The substrate must be clean, dry, load-bearing, crack-free, stable, and free of all substances that could adversely affect adhesion. Always prime highly absorbent substrates with Coba DPM800 primer. Smooth and non-absorbent substrates, such as existing tiling, must always be degreased with Coba ASP990 tile cleaner and primed with DPM810.

Processing
Add 25 kg of Coba CTA100 to approx. 7 liters of clean tap water. Use a clean and dry mortar tub. Mix with a mortar mixer for at least 1 minute until a homogeneous, lump-free mass is obtained. Mix again after a few minutes. The tile adhesive is then ready for use.
Apply Coba CTA100 using a suitable trowel. Choose a notched trowel that ensures a contact surface of at least 80% between the back of the tile and the adhesive. In the case of heavily loaded (floor) tiling, the use of thin tiles, or large-format porcelain tiles (> 40x40 cm), a contact surface of 100% is required. In this case, the tiles must be bonded to the backing using the 'buttering/floating' method. Press the tiles into the adhesive with a sliding motion for optimal initial adhesion. Avoid exceeding the open time.
- Use the prepared glue within 120 minutes.
- Processing temperature: between 5°C and 25°C.
- Clean tools immediately after use with (warm) water.
Post-treatment/drying
The setting of the adhesive depends on environmental conditions, such as temperature, moisture, substrate, and tile type. The tiles are walkable after approximately 24 hours. After hardening, grout with a Coba grout.
